In Mac system, there is NO ldconfig which exists in Linux system. The corresponding command in Mac is called "dyld". You can find out more details by "man dyld"
First make sure that you installed gdm and kdm. Then use the following command in a console.
>> sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm
From the dialog choose either gdm or kdm.
I am a researcher working in the biological physics field. I started to use Linux back in 2001. After that, I fall in love with Linux. I use it in my research and also daily work, such as document processing, web surfing etc. In this blog I record my Linux experience.
